a taste of downtown halifax

This summer marks the twentieth anniversary of Attica in Halifax. Started by two NSCAD graduates in 1995, Attica is Atlantic Canada’s first and largest contemporary furniture store. To kick start the festivities we’re having a one-day food festival in the store to showcase the talented chefs, local restaurants and food and beverage establishments of downtown Halifax. We love being part of the downtown community, and we want everyone to know what makes it a special place to be by inviting members of our community to join us for a very special day.

"We are very excited to host restaurants and food vendors from our downtown Halifax community," said Suzanne Saul, Attica Furnishings co-owner and twenty-year interiors industry veteran and decorator. "Store customers can engage with and enjoy local fare from downtown food producers and find out more about their businesses, while viewing the latest in contemporary home fashions and saving 25% store-wide."

While you enjoy the four floors of design at Attica, savour samples from Sugah!, Rum Runners,  Economy Shoe Shop, Ciboulette, Rousseau Chocolates, Five Fishermen and Layers Cakes. They're just some of the businesses that make Downtown Halifax a great place to explore and enjoy.
